Yesterday, we played tourist and flew up to Siem Reap to visit Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. During the 10-13th centuries the Khmer Empire extended throughout SE Asia. The temples and sites were amazing and we learned a lot about the Hindu and Budhist religions, particularly during that time. Gladys traced the steps of Angelina Jolie as the tomb raider and had her favorite drink at the Red Piano.
